  Update 22 August 2010 Jacko Gill again breaks his own M16 Auckland Shot Put record at the Youth Olympics in Singapore. His record throw of 22.60 beats his old mark of 22.53 set 2 weeks ago in Stockholm

Update 5th August 2010 Jacko Gill breaks his own M16 Auckland Shot Put record 3 times in the one competition at the DN Galan Stockholm. His old record of 20.88 at the NZ Track and Field Champs in March 2010, took three hits. In round one Jacko threw 21.46, then in round four 21.64 and on his final throw he threw 22.53

 Update 21th July 2010 Jacko Gill breaks his own M19 Auckland Shot Put record with a throw of 20.76 at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton Canada. This breaks his previous record of 19.92 set back at the NZ Nationals 27 03.10

Update 10th July 2010 Nikki Hamblin breaks the Auckland and NZ SW 1500m record with a time of 4.05.93 at the Night of Miles in Belgium . This breaks Christine Pfitzingers 4.06.47 record set back in 27.06.87 in USA

Update 9th July 2010 Siosetina Hakeai, breaks the Auckland and NZ W16 Discus record with a throw of 51.52 at the Kayak International Meeting at Richmond BC Canada. This breaks TeRina Keenan record of 49.58 set at the Youth Olympics Sydney 19.01.07

Update 18th April 2010 Andrea Koenen breaks her own W19 200m record with a time of 23.67 .+1.3 at the Australian Championships in Perth. This breaks her previous record of 23.69 set at the Gold Coast on 21.06.09

 Update 28th March 2010 M16 4x100m Relay team of Louis Hill, Joshua Hawkin,Campbell Wu, and Dalton Coppins set a new record of 43.54 at the NZ Track and Field Championships. This better the previous record of 43.80 set back in March 2007

  Update 28th March 2010 Nicholas Southgate breaks his own M16 Pole Vault record with a 4.48m leap. at the NZ Track and Field Championships. This betters his equal record set 2 days ago.of 4.30m

 Update 28th March 2010 Phillip Wyatt breaks his own M16 10k Walk record, with a time of 56.46.00,at the Nz Track and Field Championships in Christchurch. This betters his previous record of 57.18.00 set back in November 2009

Update 28th March 2010 Jacko Gill breaks his own M16 Shot Put record with a throw of 20.88 at the NZ Track and Field Championships in Christchurch. This betters his old mark of 20.85 set just last week at the NZ Secondary Schools

   Update 27th March 2010 Jacko Gill breaks his own M19 Shot put record, twice in the same competition, at the NZ Track and Field Championships in Christchurch. With a throw of 18.77 in round 4, and 19.92 in the final, breaking his record of 18.27 set back a month ago in Feb 2010

Update 26th March 2010 Nicholas Southgate equals the M16 Pole Vault record of 4.30m at the NZ track and Field Championships in Christchurch.He equals the record held by Sinisa Zagorac set back in November 2006

Update 26th March 2010 Portia Bing equals her own W16 Long Jump record of 5.74.+0.0 at the NZ Track and Field Championships in Christchurch

 

 Update 26th March 2010 Kerry Charlesworth breaks 3 Auckland Pole Vault records, with a leap of 4.00m,at the NZ Track and Field Championships in Christchurch. She breaks her own W16 and W19 records of 3.95 set back in March 2009. She also breaks the SW record which she shared with, Cassandra Kelly of 3.95 set way back in January 1998

Update 20th March 2010 Jacko Gill breaks the M16 Shot Put record, with a throw of 20.85 at the North Island Secondary Schools Championships in Wellington. This break his own M16 record of 20.66 set 13th of Feb last month

 Update 14th March 2010 Portia Bing breaks her own W16 Auckland Long Jump record, with a best legal jump of,5.74 -2.0 at the Australian Junior Championships in Sydney. This betters her previous mark of 5.72 set a week ago

Update 13th March 2010 Jacko Gill breaks the M16 Discus record with a throw of 56.64 at the Australian Junior Championships. This breaks Keri Tongalea record of 56.36 set back in 2006

Update 11th March 2010 Joshua Hawkins breaks the Auckland M16 110m Hurdle record, with a new time of 14.19 -1.3 at the Australian Junior Championships in Sydney. This betters Matthew Strattons record, of 14.58 set back in 2000

Update 6th March 2010 Isaac Tatoa, breaks 3 Auckland records ,in one day. First in the 60m he breaks his own M19 60m record with a time of 6.79 .+1.4 at the Mt Smart Hotmeet, bettering his old record of 6.84 set back in March 2009. This result also breaks the Senior Auckland record for the 60m, held by Simon Potter since 2002of 6.80. Then to top it of Issac breaks the Auckland M19 100m record with a time 10.59.+1.7, this breaks the record held by Ben Potter of 10.60 set way back in 1997

 

Update 6th March 2010 Portia Bing break her own W16 Long Jump record, with a jump of 5.72.+1.7 at the Mt Smart Hotmeet. This breaks her old record of 5.71 set back in Nov 2009

 

 Update 28th February 2010 Jacko Gill breaks the Auckland M19 Shot Put record,with a throw of 18.27 at the Auckland Championships, held at Mt Smart. He breaks his own record of 17.41 set back Dec 2009 at the John Walker Night of Miles

Update 13th February 2010 Jacko Gill breaks his own M16 NZ and Auckland Shot Put record with a throw of 20.66 at the Porritt Classic Hamilton. This breaks his old record of 20.42 set at the NZ Secondary Schools 13 Dec 2009

Update 31st January 2010 Portia Bing breaks her own  Auckland W16 Heptathlon Record with 4974points at the Northern Regional Combined Events Championships at Mt Smart . She betters her old mark of 4605 set back January 2009, this also betters Kim Petersen record of 4748 using the old javelin specs from 1984

Update 5th January 2010 Jono Jackson breaks his own M19 Auckland 10000m record, with a new time of 30.53.30 at the NZ 10000m Championships held in Tauranga. This beats his old record of 31.48.00 set back in March 2009

Update 19th December 2009 Jacko Gill breaks the Auckland M19 Shot Put record,with a throw of 17.41 at the John Walker Night of Miles meeting, held at Mt Smart. He breaks Damian Smuts record of 16.76 set back on 15th Feb 2009, at the Porritt Classic

Update 13th December 2009 Jacko Gill breaks his own M16 Auckland Shot Put record, with a throw of 20.42 at the Nz Schools Championships in Timaru. This improves his previous record of 19.72 set 17th Oct 2009 in Noumea

Update 28th November 2009 Portia Bing,breaks the W16 Auckland Long Jump record. With a jump of 5.71.+1.5 at the Battle of the Cities round 3 held at Mt Smart Auckland.This breaks Megan Clarken 5.68 record,set way back on the 27th March 1982

Update 25th October 2009 Phillip Wyatt again breaks his M16 10000m Auckland Walks Record, with a time of 57.18.00,at the ANZ Distance Walks Championships, held in Hastings. This betters his previous time of 57.56.00 , set a week earlier at the Sir Barry Curtis 10k in Pakuranga

Update 18th October 2009 Phillip Wyatt, breaks his own M16 10000m Auckland Walks Record, with a new time of 57.56.00,at the Sir Barry Curtis 10k road race, held in Pakuranga.This betters his previous time of 58.55.00 set at the ANZ track and Field Championships ,Wellington 29th March 2009

Update 17th October 2009 Jacko Gill again breaks his own M16,Auckland Shot Put record,with a throw of 19.72metres,also now a NZ record, at an International meeting in Noumea New Caledonia.This betters his previous record of 18.30m, set at the Mini Winter meeting at Sovereign Stadium, 20th June 2009.

Update 13th September 2009 Valerie Vili smashes her own SW NZ and Auckland shot put record.With a new mark of 21.07 set at the World Athletics Final, in Greece. This betters her old mark of 20.69 set in Brazil 17th May 2009

Update 20th August 2009 Monique Williams one day after setting a new 200m she again breaks the NZ & Auckland. In the semi finals of the 200m at the IAAF World Championships in Berlin Germany. Her new time of 22.90 .+0.5 beats the time set 24hrs earlier of 22.96

Update 19th August 2009 Monique Williams, breaks her own SW NZ & Auckland 200m record, with a new time of 22.96 .+0.0 at the IAAF World Championships in Berlin Germany, in the heats of the 200m. This betters her old time of 22.98 set at the Sydney Classic in February 2009

Update 24th July 2009 Amendments to 3 Auckland Senior records. Angus Coopers SM Hammer throw changing from his 1989 record to a 1994 mark of 73.10 set in Hamilton, see details in attached document...Also adding to the W16 Heptathlon record of Portia Bing of 4599pts set using new Javelin specs, Kim Petersens 1984 mark of 4748pts using to older Javelin specs. The senior committee decided both records should be there... Lastly a better results was found for the W16 100m Hurdles record. Andrea Millers 1997 record of 14.41, the better result is 13.86 set in Hamilton in 1999..

Update 21st June 2009 Andrea Koenen set a new W19 NZ and Auckland 200m record, at the Gold Coast Winter Series Queensland Australia. Her time of 23.69 -0.3 beats her old time of 23.77 set at the NZ track and Field Champs in March 2009

Update 20th June 2009 Jacko Gill again breaks his M16 Auckland Shot Put Record with a new distance of 18.30, set at the Mini Winter meeting at Sovereign Stadium beating his old mark set 2 weeks ago of 18.20

 Update 6th June 2009 Jacko Gill breaks his own M16 Auckland Shot Put record with a distance of 18.20 at Sovereign Stadiums Mini Winter Meeting. This beats his old mark of 17.71 set at the North Island Sec Schools in April 2009

Update 17th May 2009 Valerie Vili smashes her own SW NZ and Auckland shot put record, with a new distance of 20.69 at Rio de Janeiro Brazil. This breaks her old record of 20.56 set back at the Beijing Olympics in August last year

Update 4th April 2009 Jacko Gill sets a new M16 Shot Put record with a distance of 17.71 at the North Island Secondary Schools Championships held at Newtown Park Wellington. This beats Junior Mininoa record of 17.35 set back in December 2004

Update 1st April 2009 Jono Jackson sets a new  Auckland M19 10000m record of 31.48.00, at the Auckland 10000m Championships, at Mt Smart. This breaks the old record of 32.15.88 set by Aaron Jackson in Dec 2007

Update 29th March 2009 Andrea Koenen breaks the W19 200m Auckland and NZ record at the NZ Track and Field Championships with a record time of 23.77 .+2.0 . She breaks Kim Robertsons 1977 record of 23.87

Update 29th March 2009 Madison Gipson sets a new record for the W16 300m Hurdles at a time of 44.23, at the NZ track and Field Championships. She breaks Portia Bing's record of 44.55 set 2 days earlier in the semi finals

Update 29th March 2009 Phillip Wyatt set a new M16 10km walk record with a time of 58.55.00 at the NZ Track and Field Championships. He breaks Kent Phillips record of 60.01.08 set back in Jan 2000

Update 28th March 2009 Elizabeth Lamb equals the W19 Auckland High Jump record, with a height of 1.85 at the NZ Track and Field Championships. She now shares the record with Carmel Corbett, who set the 1.85 record back in Jan 1992

Update March 28th 2009 Frazer Wickes for the third time this season has lowered the M16.M19 Auckland 400m record. At the NZ Track and Field Championships he set a new time of 47.36. This betters his old time of 47.63 set just 21 days ago..

Update March 27th 2009 Portia Bing breaks her own Auckland W16 300m Hurdle record. She set a new time of 44.55 at the NZ Track and Field Championships in Wellington. Portia's old time was 44.64 set last December at the NZSSchools Championships

Update March 21st 2009  Isaac Tatoa breaks his own M19 60m record with a new time 6.84 .+1.5  at Senior Meeting at Mt Smart. His old time of 6.97 was set last December at Massey Park Papakura

Update March 7th 2009 Frazer Wickes breaks his own Auckland M16 and M19 400m records. At the Auckland Senior Track and Field Championships, held at Mt Smart,his time of 47.63 beats his previous time of 47.68 set back in Octber 2008

Update February 28th 2009 Monique Williams set a new  NZ / Auckland record for SW 200m, her time was 22.98 .+0.6 at the Sydney Classic , held at Olympic Park Sydney. She breaks Kim Robertsons 23.13 set 30 years ago in LA

Update February 28th 2009  The NZ  SM relay team made up of all Auckland athletes , at the Sydney Classic, held at Olympic Park Sydney, set a new Auckland record of 39.46. The team was Carl van der Speck , Craig Bearda, James Mortimer and James Dolphin . This beats the time of 39.60 set back in Jan 2008

Update February 27th 2009 Kimberley Smith breaks her own Auckland / NZ 5000m indoor record with a new time of 14.39.89 at the Armory Track New York. Her old record was 14.50.46 set back in 2005. This is also better than her Auckland / NZ outdoor 5000m outdoor record of 14.45.93 set last year

Update February 24th 2009 Cameron Graves sets a new Auckland M16 3000m record at the Bays Distance Series held at Sovereign Stadium, with a time of 8.41.65. This beats Raban Bashin record of 8.43.80 set back in December 2006 

Update February 15th 2009 Damian Smuts breaks the Auckland M19 Shot Put record with a throw of 16.76 at the Porritt Classic Hamilton. He breaks Erwan Cassier record of 16.58 set last March 2008

Update January 10th 2009 Portia Bing breaks the Auckland W16 Heptathlon Record with 4605points at the Northern Regional Combined Events Championships at Porritt Stadium. She breaks Brynoy Barkers 1995 record of 4534

Update December 14th 2008 Portia Bing breaks the Auckland W16 300m Hurdle record with a time of 44.64 ,at the Nz Secondary Schools Championships in Hamilton. She breaks Veronika van Dijcks 44.77 record set back in March 1997

 Update December 6th 2008 Isaac Tatoa, breaks the Auckland M19 60m record. At the Auckland Senior Meet at Massey Park Papakura. Isaac ran 6.97 (-2.0 ) bettering Craig Bearda time of 7.00 set back in 2002. Also second place Clayton Mbofana at 6.98 bettered the time

Update October 15th 2008 Frazer Wickes, breaks the Auckland 400m M16, plus M19 records. At the Commonwealth Youth Games, in the 400m final he ran 47.68, finishing 5th. This beats his own M16 record of 47.79 set last year, and also breaks Simon Potters 1997 M19 record of 47.72

Update August 16th 2008 Valerie Vili breaks her own NZ and Auckland SW Shot Put record.At the Beijing Olympics in winning the Gold medal she threw 20.56, adding 2cm to her record set at Osaka World Champs last year

Update August 15th 2008 Ive acknowledged the following as part of the Auckland Records.. Fabian Castles M16 10000m time of  35.07.83 ran at the Auckland 10000m Championships 12 Dec 2007, as there was no previous time. Also all 60m times are part of the Auckland Records

Update July 20th 2008 Adrian Blincoe sets a ne NZ and Auckland 5000m record for SM. At Hensden Belgium he ran 13.10.19, breaking Dick Quaxs record from 1997 of 13.12.87

Update July 11th 2008 Kimberley Smith breaks her own NZ and Auckland SW 3000m record.At Rome Italy she ran a time of 14.45.93, she breaks her previous time of 14.49.41 set at the same meet 12 months ago

Update May 5th 2008  Kimberley Smith breaks her own NZ and Auckland 10000m record by45 seconds with a new mark of 30.35.54 .tThis must be favourite track as last year she ran her old record there, and 2 years earlier she set the one before that.

Update April 17th 2008 Ive updated the Auckland record for the W16 200m, on info and documents received, I had April Brough at 24.39 -0.9 set in 12.03.2000. I have now got a better result for April of 24.03 +1.8 set at the Northern League Qualifier at Massey Park on 16.12.2000.

Update March 31st 2008  Nneka Okpala,set a new NZ and Auckland record, for the W19 Triple Jump. With a new mark of 12.77 (+1.5 ), breaking Kelera Nacewas record of 12.74 set back in March 1998.  

The Auckland 4x100m W16 relay team of, Woodman,Peeters,Wilson and Johannsen. Set a new NZ and Auckland record of 47.96, breaking the record set by the Auckland team at last years Nationals in Inglewood of 48.62

The Auckland 4x400m M16 relay team of , Wickes,Dyet,Ward and Quor. Set a new Auckland record of 3.25.30, breaking a record set way back in February 1989 by a Bays Team of 3.31.00

Erwan Cassier broke the Auckland M19 Shot Put record with a throw of 16.58, breaking Damian Smuts record set a month ago of 16.38

Also Erwan Cassier breaks his own M19 Hammer record of 65.35, with a new record of 66.39

 Update March 15th 2008 Kerry Charlesworth breaks her own W16. W19 Pole Vault records with a new height of 3.95m which is 5cm better than her old mark. She also now equals the Auckland Senior Womens record, the event was at Mt Smart

Update March 8th 2008. Damian Smuts, sets a new Auckland M19 record in the Shot Put, at Mt Smart, with a throw of 16.38m, breaking Jonathon Macfarlanes record of 16.06 set in 2005

Update February 17th 2008. Nneka Okpala equals the Auckland W19 Triple Jump record, ( held by Kelera Nacewa ) , with 12.74 ( +0.9) at the Auckland Senior Championships at Mt Smart

Update February 16th 2008. Matthew Mildenhall sets a new Auckland M19 Mile record at the Mayoral Mile in Wanganui. His new mark is 4.03.32, breaking Mark Bowyers record of 4.03.98 set back in January 1992

Update February 9th 2008  At Porritt Stadium Hamilton. Alya Gill breaks her own Auckland W16 Hammer record of 49.87 to a new mark on 51.32. Phillippa Charlesworth breaks Andrea McBrides W16 Javelin record of 41.93 set back in 1999, to a new distance of 44.16.  Erwan Cassier,smashes Jonathon Macfarlanes M19 Hammer record of 41.66. As I was waitng for confirmation of his registration to Bays,I can now acknowlelge it. On Jan 26th at Mt Smart he broke the record with a throw of 64.04. Then on Feb 9th he increased it again to 65.35

Update January 27th 2008. Craig Bearda. Jeffrey Thumath,Matt Brown,and James Dolphin as a ANZ relay team,set a new Auckland Senior Mens 4x100m relay at the Canberra Classic Meet in Australia. They set a new mark of 39.60 ,the old time being 40.24.and also beat Australia

Update January 15th 2008. Esther Keown sets a new W16 3000m record, with a new mark 9.46.29, at the Distance Series at Sovereign Stadium. The old mark set by Odette Jesson of 9.50.92 was set back in 1996

Update January 12th 2008 James Dolphin breaks his own Auckland senior 200m record of 20.60 with a new mark of 20.56 at the Sydney Classic meet in Australia.

Update December 19th 2007 Aaron Jackson sets an Auckland M19 10000m record in winning the Auckland 10000m Championships at Mt Smart 

Update December 15th 2007  Frazer Wickes smashes the Auckland M16 400m record of 49.58 held by Jordan Vandermade since 2002, to a new mark of 47.79 at the NZ Secondary Schools Championships at Wanganui

Update December 15th 2007  Ayla Gill breaks her own W16 Hammer record again at the NZ Secondary School Championships at Wanganui with a new mark of 49.87

Update December 2nd 2007 Ayla Gill breaks her own W16 Hammer record at the Sam Johnson Meet at Porritt Stadium with a new mark of 47.21.

Update November 3rd 2007 Ayla Gill breaks Valerie Vilis W16 Hammer record at Sovereign Stadium setting a new mark of 46.20m

Update October 13th 2007 Kerry Charlesworth at only 13 breaks 2 NZ w16.w19 Pole Vault records at a height of 3.90m, these now also become Auckland Centre records. These were set at our Hotmeet at Mt Smart

Update August 28th 2007 James Dolphin breaks Cameron Taylors 200m senior Auckland record,that has stood since 1992. At the World Championships in Osaka Japan, James ran 20.65 +0.2 in the first round of the 200m competition. Though James has run a faster time of 20.60 in Brisbane 2005, Bays were then still part of Athletics North.

Update August 28th 2007  Valerie Vili smashes her own NZ shotput record from 20.20m to 20.54m, at the World Championships at Osaka Japan. This then also becomes the new Auckland record

Update July 26th 2007 Kimberley Smiths sets a new 3000m NZ record at Monaco, her time of 8.29.52, breaks Ann Audains record of 8.45.53,set back in 1982. So this now becomes a new Auckland record.Also earlier this year Kimberley ran 8.38.14 for an indoor 3000m

Update July 14th 2007 Kimberley Smith,set a new NZ record,for the 5000m at a Golden League meeting in Rome. She ran a new time of 14.49.41, taking 7sec of her previous record of 14.56.58

Update July 13th 2007 Matthew Whitehead finished 7th in his semi final at the World Youth Championships,in Ostrava Czech. His time of 1.53.10, betters his own Auckland Record,of 1.53.60 set back in Dec 2006

Update May 1st 2007 Kimberley Smith smashes her own,NZ 10000m record,at a meeting at Stanford California.She set a new time of 31.20.63,which breaks her old record of 31.21.00, set at the same 2 years ago. This then alsi becomes the new Auckland Record

Update April 7th 2007 Jaedena Ward extended her, NZ and Auckland record by 4cm, her new mark is 3.55m. The North Harbour Bays W16 4x400m relay team, Beckie West, Sophie Healey, Bianca Lawrie,and Elena Hewett, set a new NZ and Auckland record of 3.53.72. Both these records were set a the North Island Secondary Schools Champs, held at Mt Smart, March 31st and April 1st

Update March 27th 2007 Kelsi Patterson sets a new Auckland W16 record for the mile , at the John Walker Night of Miles, 24th March 2007 at Mt Smart. She lowered the mark of 5.14.36,set by Anne Keown at the same event last year, to a new mark of 4.54.85.  Also on information received Matthew Mildenhall ran a M16 mile back on 23rd Feb 2005, his time of 4.14.13, as a result the M16 record has been aended to reflect this.                                                                  

Update March 12th 2007 James Mortimer set a new NZ and Auckland record in the SM 110mHurdles. James broke his own 13.94 record, to set a new mark of 13.71. It was set at the Australian Track and Field Champs held last weekend at Brisbane

Update March 9th 2007 Its been pionted out to me that there was a last minute change to the 4x100m W16 relay team. Johannsen was injured, she was replaced by Portia Woodman

Update March 6th 2007 New records set over the National Championships weekend. Jaedene Ward set a W16 NZ record in the Pole Vault at 3.51m, which will also be the new Auckland Centre record. Three relay records were set; M16 4x100m Centre team of Wickes,Tatoa,Kvasnicka, Toki, record now is 43.80, the old record was 44.70,set in 1993,by the Roskill South club team.   W16 4x100m Centre team of, Healey,Koenen,Peeters, Johannsen,set a new mark of 48.62, the old one being 49.59,set back in 1994.  W16 4x400m Centre team of Hewett,Lawrie,Koenen,Healey, time of 3.59.52 broke the 1981 record of 4.03.24

Update Feb 8th 2007  New record recognised for the W16 10000m by 15 year old Casey Mitchell from the Pakuranga Club. Her time of 38.51.77 was set at the Auckland 10000m Championships on Jan 24th 2007. At the Auckland Championships over the last weekend Jaedene Ward equalled her own existing W16 Pole Vault record of 3.40m    

                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Update Jan 31st 2007 Record pending Casey Mitchell W16 for the 10000m she ran at the Auckland Senior 10000m Championships on Wed 24th Jan 2007 . Two new Auckland senior records were set at the Youth Olympics last weekend in Sydney. Te Rina Keenan improved on here W16 Discus. and Jaedena Ward increased her excisting record in the W16 Pole Vault
