Attention Club Coaches and other interested parties:

AAI Coaching courses: Athletics Auckland wishes to conduct coaching courses for clubs over the next three months, covering the summer season events from now until March and courses leading into the winter season with cross country and road event sessions over March to June 2019.

We wish to meet the needs of all interested people with practical and theoretical sessions to cover the technical and conditioning aspects of the sport. For the "in class" sessions I wish to facilitate the courses and use the "knowledge in the room" from coaches and officials/parent helpers with brain storming methods to encourage participation and learning.

Please provide the following information to Neil Bartlett at development@athleticsauckland.co.nz as soon as possible.

Events to be covered?

Theory and/or Practical?

Where you would like the course to take place?

What day and time would you prefer?

"Mini" Aspire Academy: Athletics Auckland will be running an Academy for athletes aged from 12-16 years of age from 10am to 3pm each day at Mt. Smart. Tuesday 22 January will focus on technique and conditioning for the throws, specifically Shot and Javelin. Wednesday 23 January will focus on technique and conditioning for the Sprints and Hurdles.

Coaches at all levels are welcome to participate in these two days and interact with myself and other coaches attending.

We look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks
